Jenga Plans

Marketplace platform — Kenya

01The Challenge

House plans in Kenya are largely traded informally — shared through contacts, social media and unverified listings. Buyers struggle to compare options and trust what they are paying for, while designers and plan owners have no structured way to reach a national market.

02The Approach

We started with how each side actually works: how buyers search, compare and commit to a plan, and how sellers prepare, price and manage their listings. The marketplace was then scoped around those real journeys — clear catalogue structure first, transaction flow second, and administration that a small team can run day to day.

03The Solution

A dedicated marketplace where plans are listed with images and specifications, buyers browse and search by category, and sellers manage their own listings. The purchase journey is direct and mobile-first, reflecting how most Kenyan buyers will actually use the platform.

05The Result

The platform is live at jengaplans.com and open to buyers and sellers across Kenya.

SERVIO

Android application — business & commerce

01The Challenge

The Kenyan services and commerce market runs across many separate tools — one app to buy goods, another to hire a fundi or book a service, another to post a job. Users and service providers alike were managing the same work in disconnected places.

02The Approach

Rather than build four products, we mapped the roles first: client, service provider, seller and job poster. The design challenge was giving each role its own focused home without splitting accounts, messages or history across separate systems.

03The Solution

A single Android app with role-aware views — switching between client and service provider workspaces while keeping one account, one messaging layer and one activity history. Jobs, bookings, goods, nearby providers and notifications all live in one place.

FaithLink

Android application — Christian community & dating

01The Challenge

Mainstream dating apps give no room for faith. For Christians who want shared belief at the centre of a relationship, the existing options offer neither faith-centred matching nor any sense of genuine community around it.

02The Approach

We treated this as a community product first and a dating product second. Discovery work focused on what makes people feel safe and sincere online: verified ages, faith-centred profiles, and shared spaces — prayer, devotionals, groups and events — that let people meet around belief, not just photos.

03The Solution

An app combining considered matching with a living community layer: verse of the day, a prayer wall, groups, events and messaging between matches, with age verification at sign-up and M-Pesa profile boosts for visibility.
